Use human readable URLs

Zoe Michaela Dietmar Pfister requested to merge url-fixes-without-configuration into develop

I applied the patches collected from 1368a19d and 46f4dccc from @csba1652 to the develop branch. This way, we can have human readable URLs before merging the configuration changes.
